my psychology class was briefly interesting today....
My professor briefly talked about schemas and their relation to politics/controversial issues.
Basically she said that people who have limited knowledge of an issue only remember details/facts that coincide with their schemas, while people who have a more complete understanding of an issue will remember more details/facts and take in info from different sides of an argument and fit both sides...
